Lysis is proud to support the Damilola Taylor Trust in reducing youth unemployment and combating knife crime.
In partnership with the DTT, Lysis has been running the Damilola Taylor Trust City Career Pathway Programme. The Programme is aimed at offering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity of gaining experience and insight of working in the City of London.
To date we have held many workshops which have been focusing on providing an overview of life working in the city as well as career advice.
We have also given young people the opportunity in undertaking paid work experience and internships within Lysis. In addition, we have had many participants of the programme undertake and pass our 5-day public courses which focuses on Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client (KYC) skills.
We are also delighted to announce that the success of the Programme has resulted in Lysis offering permanent employment opportunities to some of those who participated.
In addition to the City Careers Programme, we are committed to working with the Trust to highlight the effects of, and help combat, knife crime within the UK.
